One of our guys reported in today and boy did I notice a HUGE difference. He was confident, he enjoyed telling me all about his job and how “awesome” his employer is. He has really found purpose and has gained financial security, has goals to move out of his parents house, brought himself a new car, and I was so proud of him!! Our rangatahi really need support, and to have once been a young tane who did not speak, was shy, and had his girlfriend do all the talking – I was so incredibly proud to see a young man sitting in front of me with such a positive, confident aura about him!!!!!!!!
